I have
heard people saying That what doesn’t
kill you makes you stronger, that’s
quite a relaxing analogy, but again think a bit out of that relaxing
notion, what if we outgrow our inner strength and we can’t just handle it no
more. What if life has hit us to the walls that all we see it us drilling through
it or getting stack to wine and eventually die, not of the life tough
catastrophes but of the boredom of staying in that same room of complains?
Those who are believers like me, know for sure that God has good plans for us,
and he has this awesome plan to make us prosper, but let’s be realistic,
everyone one want to know when. When is this prosperity plan going come?
Tomorrow? Next year? 10 years from now? When?
Talk of
tarmacking, hustling to put food on the table if you even have a table, talk of
working hard that you can see your future brighter than what it looks right
now, and then when you think you are at the crest, you fall all the way to the
ground, and then you are told just dust off your clothes and climb again? That
sounds ridiculous, it’s selfish even to think of saying that to someone,
I know
people go through hardships and am not here to encourage you that they will
stop and one day all will be okay, because I myself I have been waiting for
that to happen and it has not. I keep saying to myself that there is still time
for all that to come, God is not asleep in the situations we face and he will
help us get a way to deal with it. There’ s always a light at the end of the
tunnel, I know but sometimes we are tired of walking in those dark tunnels that
you just want sit down and get used to the darkness.

Everyone know
where their shoe pinches, only those facing the darkness understand how is
feels not see where you are heading to, and honestly speaking I can never blame
them for giving up, I can never call them cowards for deciding that enough is
enough, because who am I to judge what I am not feeling. People have given up
in life and taken their breathing to the dungeon because they have failed in life,
or because they have been heart broken, some have cling from the ceiling
because they lost all their wealth and many others. We all have different
stories, but one thing is common, we all have reasons for doing what we do, good or bad, that’s your own judgment those
whose doing it, find their reasons convincing enough.
My prayer is not
to see people giving up and letting go, my prayers is to have people who are
going to stand firm next to us, people who are going to offer some glimpse of
light in those tunnel, people who are going to take away those ropes that have
been used before, people who are going to care, not because they benefit but
just because they love us.
Rain doesn’t pour
on our roofs every day, but for sure it pours somewhere else, at least it is
raining somewhere every day. Maybe one day it will be on your roof, you just
need to wait. Let others enjoy the rain while they still can, one day it will
be your turn. People are born and die, life still goes on, people work so hard
to get where they are and one day bankruptcy just hit like a tornado. People get married for death parts them but
after sometimes they file divorce cases because they can’t stand each other.
That’s life deal with it. If you want some paradise where everything goes well
for you then you are in a wrong planet. As long as we are here on earth we are
in for a lot of surprises and giving up or getting tired of it is not going to
take it away, for maturity is built on a maintained elasticity of
discontentment and complacence.
Let’s
wake up and journey on.
Hapo sawa. Thanks 4 this.
